I nearly gave this an average rating, until I remembered what good value this place was. We stayed as a group of friends in April and if we repeated the trip, I’d not have a problem with staying here again. A few things that some people may want to consider ahead of booking, however: It is on a relatively busy street so you will get noise from cars, buses and trams. The security was a minor concern, you walk straight in off the street and the stairs are right in front of you, I was never challenged when walking in. The coffee at breakfast is pretty bad. That being said, it was perfect for our needs, the location was great and if you’re sharing the costs with friends (like we were) I think you’d struggle to find better value.

A great find for a short break (2 nights/3 days). I had a first floor room, very clean, comfortable large bed, bath and shower, TV, tea making facilities, fridge, air con if needed. My room did look over the street so can be noisy, but I slept very well from all the exploring I did. The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre for easy access to lots of restaurants, harbour, trams, metro and all forms of transport for exploring the city. Breakfast is an extra charge. There is ample choice of cereals, cold meat and cheese, hot food, toast, pancakes, cakes, fruit, yoghurts, juice, tea, coffee served until 10am. Helpful and friendly staff at reception polite and friendly staff at the breakfast room, also friendly cleaners. Storage for bags when you check out at 12noon and an area to freshen up/change before you head for the airport. Will definitely return to explore some more maybe Sept/Oct time. Not Lisbon Arsenal related .....Be aware of Oasis bar near Umbrella street make sure you check your bill ....20€ for a small brandy .....dont think so, but the manager sorted it out.

Amazing hotel located in the heart of Lisbon. Very central near all the attractions. Everything was very clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty and with variety. I will surely come back!

This place is awful. The customer services is terrible. During my permanence they gave my dirty towels and in my room the sockets and the hairdryer wasn't working. I asked to change room or to fix the appliances but they didn't offer any solution. They made my have a shower in my room and dry my hair in a different room. I request not to enter my room during my permanence and eveb with the label on the door they entered not respecting my privacy. I paid 130£ a day for a very poor service. I never had such a poor service in my life.

This friendly hotel is in a great location in Baxia district. Short walk from two metro stations and ideal for exploring Lisbon. We had a superior room on the first floor. Very clean with good bathroom. There was a kettle and fridge but you need to take your own tea/coffee. The kind receptionist gave us some milk to start with. Also free safe provided. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked well although it does switch off after an hour. Only issue was with pillows. One too hard, the other far too soft, but we managed. Also, I would recommend taking ear plugs as you do get some noise from traffic/trams and people walking by. Didn’t take the breakfast option as there are some lovely options nearby. Reception staff were great. They stored our luggage on the last day before we left for the airport and offered to refill our water bottles, which was much appreciated as it was very hot. All in all a good budget place to stay.
